Accomplishments

Created relationships and organized events with my staff that resulted in the Foundation’s assets growing from $19.5 million to more than $26 million
Organized annual giving campaigns at IHCC that yielded $50,000 to $60,000 for student scholarships and had 100 percent staff participation from 2005 to 2014
Worked with several 100 women from the Wapello County area in funding more that $70,000 in perpetual scholarships for local women attending IHCC
Organized the IHCC retirees as the IHCC Trailblazers who held regular meetings and did fund raising to fund scholarships for IHCC students

Personal

Married to Kelly for 37 years
Have three grown daughters, Erin, Katie, and Abby
Have 5 grandchildren
Retired from IHCC in 2015
Teach and work as a writing tutor, part-time, at IHCC
Am a member of the Ottumwa Hy-Noon Kiwanis
Am active in St Mary’s Catholic Church and on the finance council
Am a member of the Fortnightly Ladies group in Ottumwa
Am a regular blood donor
Am past member of the Ottumwa Partners in Progress board and the Ottumwa Chamber of Commerce
